Indication

Treatment of hypertension. Also used to reduce the risk of stroke in hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy and to treat diabetic nephropathy.

• Losartan potassium 50 mg

Side effects

• May cause dizziness
• fatigue
• low blood pressure
• or increased blood potassium. Stop use and seek medical advice if any severe or persistent reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in pregnancy. Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• dehydration
• or severe hepatic impairment. Inform your doctor if breastfeeding. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
