Duphalac 667 mg/mL

Indication

Osmotic laxative for the treatment of constipation and for the treatment and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy.

Ingredients

• Lactulose 667 mg/mL

Direction

Constipation - Adults and adolescents: starting dose 15 to 45 mL daily, maintenance 15 to 30 mL daily. Children 7 to 14 years: starting 15 mL, maintenance 10 to 15 mL. Children 1 to 6 years: 5 to 10 mL. Infants under 1 year: up to 5 mL. Or as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Flatulence.
• Abdominal cramps.
• Diarrhea with high doses.
