Indication

For the treatment of dehydration due to diarrhoea.

Ingredients

• Glucose anhydrous
• Sodium chloride
• Sodium citrate
• Potassium chloride

Direction

Pour 5 glasses (1 litre) of boiled and cooled water into a clean container. Mix the content of one sachet into the water and stir until dissolved. Give the solution using a clean cup and spoon. Use within 24 hours; discard any unused solution after 24 hours.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated. Stop use and seek medical advice if vomiting or any adverse reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Use the reconstituted solution within 24 hours.
• Seek medical advice if diarrhoea or dehydration is severe or persists.
