Indication
Combination antibacterial (co-trimoxazole) for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible organisms, including urinary tract, respiratory and gastrointestinal infections.
Ingredients
- Sulfamethoxazole 400 mg
- Trimethoprim 80 mg
Direction
Oral route. Use as directed by a doctor. The tablet is scored and can be divided. Essentially sodium-free.
Side effects
- May cause nausea
- vomiting
- rash or allergic skin reactions
- and rarely serious skin or blood disorders. Stop use and seek medical advice if any adverse reaction occurs.
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy. Consult a doctor before use
