Pimag Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 300 mg, Magnesium hydroxide 300 mg, Simethicone 80 mg per 7 mL

Indication

Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, heartburn and gastric hyperacidity; helps reduce symptoms related to gastric hyperacidity such as stomach upset, nausea, flatulence and heartburn.

Ingredients

• Aluminium hydroxide dried gel 300 mg
• Magnesium hydroxide 300 mg
• Simethicone 80 mg

Direction

Adults: 1 to 2 sachets, 3 to 4 times a day. Children (6 to 12 years old): 1 sachet, 3 to 4 times a day. Shake before use. Take immediately once symptoms occur and repeat 30 to 60 minutes before or after meals and before bed time.

Side effects

• Generally may cause constipation
• diarrhea
• nausea
• vomiting and symptoms will disappear after not taking the medicine. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if any adverse reaction persists.

Precautions

• Do not use for patients with serious kidney failures which may cause hypermagnesemia. Not recommended for treatment more than 2 weeks unless recommended by physician. Antacids may disturb absorption of tetracycline and cimetidine
• so leave a 1 to 2 hours gap. Not recommended for children under 6 years old. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
