R-Flox-200 200 mg

Indication

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections including those of the urinary tract, respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue, and certain sexually transmitted infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

• Ofloxacin 200 mg

Direction

As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose is 200-400 mg twice daily, or as prescribed.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea or abdominal discomfort
• Headache
• dizziness or insomnia
• Tendon pain or inflammation (rare but serious)
• Photosensitivity or skin rash
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Avoid excessive sun exposure during treatment
• Use with caution in patients with a history of tendon disorders or epilepsy
• Tell your doctor about other medicines
