Indication

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina (chest pain) in adults using a combination of a calcium channel blocker and a beta-blocker.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine (as besilate) 5 mg
• Atenolol 25 mg

Direction

Take one tablet daily, or as directed by a physician. To be sold only on prescription.

Side effects

• Swelling of ankles or feet
• Slow heart rate
• Tiredness
• Dizziness

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with asthma or heart block
• Do not stop suddenly without medical advice
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
