Indication
Treatment of hypertension where combination therapy with amlodipine and atenolol is appropriate.
Ingredients
- Amlodipine (as besilate) 5 mg
- Atenolol 50 mg
Direction
To be dispensed only on the prescription of a registered physician. For indications and dosage, see the enclosed leaflet.
Side effects
- Ankle swelling (oedema)
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Cold extremities
- Bradycardia (slow heart rate)
Precautions
- Do not stop suddenly
- the dose should be reduced gradually. Use with caution in asthma
- diabetes
- and heart failure.
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
