Indication
Muclear is a mucolytic used as adjuvant therapy for severe mucous (sticky) secretion due to diseases of the respiratory tract, such as acute and chronic bronchitis. It reduces the viscosity of mucus, making it easier to expel.
Ingredients
- Acetylcysteine 600 mg per effervescent tablet
Direction
Dissolve one effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink. For oral use. Take as directed by a doctor or pharmacist, usually one tablet (600 mg) once daily. See the package insert for full directions.
Side effects
- Nausea or vomiting
- Heartburn or stomach upset
- Diarrhea
- Headache
- Allergic reactions such as rash (rare)
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use

Precautions
- Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer
- Use with caution in patients with asthma or bronchospasm
