Codalgin Forte 500 mg / 30 mg

Indication

Short-term management of severe pain.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Codeine phosphate 30 mg

Direction

Children aged 12 years and over and adults: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours if necessary, for relief of severe pain. Do not exceed 8 tablets in a 24-hour period.

• Risk of addiction
• physical dependence
• tolerance and hyperalgesia
• Avoid in respiratory depression and during pregnancy
• Use with caution in impaired renal or hepatic function
• do not drive
• operate machinery or drink alcohol while taking this medication
• Contraindicated in children under 12 years and in CYP2D6 ultra
• rapid metabolizers
