Indication
Montelukast is a leukotriene receptor antagonist used for the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma and for the relief of symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Ingredients
- Montelukast (as Montelukast Sodium) 10 mg
Direction
Take one tablet once daily as directed by the physician, or see the package insert for full prescribing information.

- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Drowsiness
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Mood or behaviour changes

- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- Not for the treatment of acute asthma attacks
- Report any neuropsychiatric symptoms such as mood changes to a doctor
- Use with caution in patients with phenylketonuria for chewable forms
