Woods' Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg / Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg per 5 mL

Indication

For the relief of non-productive (dry) cough due to allergy.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan HBr 7.5 mg per 5 mL
• Diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL), 3 times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL), 3 times a day. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• May cause drowsiness
• Vomiting
• Dizziness
• Constipation

Precautions

• Special precautions should be taken in patients taking alcohol or tranquilizers
• Do not drive or operate machinery while using this medicine
• Not recommended for productive cough
• If cough persists after three days
