Tamsolin 0.4 mg

Indication

Used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) in men, such as difficulty starting urination, weak stream, and frequent or urgent need to urinate.

Ingredients

• Tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg

Direction

Take one capsule by mouth once daily, about 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Use as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• especially when standing up
• Abnormal ejaculation
• Headache
• Runny or stuffy nose
• Weakness or drowsiness

Precautions

• May cause a sudden drop in blood pressure leading to dizziness or fainting
• particularly with the first dose
• Inform your eye surgeon you are taking this medicine before any cataract or glaucoma surgery
• Use with caution if you have severe kidney or liver problems
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
