Vastarel MR 35 mg

Indication

Add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in adults who are inadequately controlled by, or intolerant to, first-line anti-anginal medicines.

Ingredients

• Trimetazidine dihydrochloride 35 mg

Direction

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water during meals. Usual dose is one tablet twice daily, morning and evening. Follow your doctor's instructions.

Side effects

• Dizziness
• headache
• Stomach upset
• nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• Movement disorders such as tremor
• rigidity or unsteady walking (may resolve after stopping)
• Skin rash or itching

• stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Not for treatment of angina attacks (not a rescue medicine) or for unstable angina/myocardial infarction
• Do not use in Parkinson's disease
• parkinsonian symptoms
• tremors
• restless legs syndrome or other movement disorders
• Use with caution and at reduced dose in patients with kidney impairment and in the elderly
• Tell your doctor if pregnant
• planning pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
