Indication

Levocetirizine is used to relieve the symptoms of indoor and outdoor allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and itchy throat or nose. It is also used for the symptomatic treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 0.5 mg/mL

Direction

Use only with the syringe measurement provided. Children 2-6 years: 2.5 mL twice a day. Children 6-12 years: 5 mL once a day. Children over 12 years: 10 mL once a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose because of the increased risk of drowsiness at higher doses, or use as directed by a doctor.

Precautions

• Do not ingest more than the recommended dose because of the increased risk of somnolence
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine
• Use with caution in patients with epilepsy or at risk of convulsion
• Use with caution in patients with predisposing factors for urinary retention
