Indication
Woods' Peppermint Expectorant is used for productive cough (cough with phlegm) and cough due to bronchitis or emphysema. The plus Mucolytic formula helps loosen and clear mucus.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine HCl 4 mg per 5 mL
- Guaiphenesin 100 mg per 5 mL
- Ethanol 6% v/v
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL) three times a day. Children 6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) three times a day. Shake well before use.
Side effects
- Occasional gastrointestinal disturbance
- Rarely
- allergic skin rashes and vomiting
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- Special precaution is needed in patients with gastrointestinal ulceration
- during pregnancy and lactation
