Panadol 500 mg

Indication

For the relief of mild-to-moderate pain and treatment of fever including headache, migraine, muscle ache, dysmenorrhoea, sore throat, musculoskeletal pain, pain after dental procedures, toothache, earache, osteoarthritis pain, and pain associated with cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg

Direction

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: 500 mg to 1000 mg (1 to 2 tablets) every 4 to 6 hours as required. Do not take more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period. Maximum daily dose: 4000 mg.

Side effects

• Allergic reactions such as skin rash (rare)
• Liver damage with overdose or excessive use
• Blood disorders (very rare)
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Do not exceed the stated dose
• Contraindicated in patients with previous hypersensitivity to paracetamol
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment
• Avoid concurrent use of other paracetamol
