Ascoril Salbutamol 2 mg / Bromhexine HCl 4 mg / Guaifenesin 100 mg / Menthol 1 mg per 10 mL

Indication

For the relief of cough associated with respiratory tract conditions where there is productive cough and bronchospasm, helping to loosen and clear mucus and relieve bronchial constriction.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol 2 mg (as Salbutamol Sulphate) per 10 mL
• Bromhexine Hydrochloride 4 mg per 10 mL
• Guaifenesin 100 mg per 10 mL
• Menthol 1 mg per 10 mL

Direction

As directed by the physician. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Tremor
• palpitations or increased heart rate (from salbutamol)
• Nausea
• stomach upset or diarrhoea
• Headache or dizziness

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with heart disease
• high blood pressure
• hyperthyroidism or diabetes
• Avoid in patients hypersensitive to any component
