Decolgen Paracetamol 100 mg / Phenylephrine HCl 2.5 mg / Chlorpheniramine maleate 0.33 mg per 5 mL

Indication

For control of the common cold. Also for allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, influenzal catarrh, sinusitis and other related upper respiratory disorders, relieving headache, fever, pain, stuffy nose, sneezing and runny nose.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 100 mg per 5 mL
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 2.5 mg per 5 mL
• Chlorpheniramine Maleate 0.33 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Orally, 3 or 4 times a day. 2 to 6 years: 5-10 mL (1-2 teaspoonfuls) per dose. 7 to 12 years: 15 mL (1 tablespoonful) per dose. Adults: 30 mL (2 tablespoonfuls) per dose. Infants under 2 years: ask a doctor before use. Or as prescribed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Drowsiness or sedation (from chlorpheniramine)
• Dry mouth or dizziness
• Nausea or restlessness
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose due to the paracetamol content
• Use with caution in children with heart disease
• high blood pressure or hyperthyroidism
• May cause drowsiness
• avoid combining with other sedatives
