Indication

Symptomatic treatment of functional colonic disturbances, including pain, bloating and disturbed bowel habits.

Ingredients

• Beidellitic montmorillonite (monmectite) 3 g per sachet

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in half a glass of water before use. Usual dose is one sachet two to three times a day, by oral or rectal route, or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Constipation
• Bloating
• May reduce absorption of other medicines taken at the same time

Precautions

• Separate the dose from other medicines by at least 2 hours to avoid reduced absorption
• Use with caution in patients prone to constipation
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
