Indication

Treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children above 2 years, in addition to oral rehydration. Symptomatic treatment of chronic functional diarrhoea and of pain associated with functional bowel diseases in adults.

Ingredients

• Diosmectite 3 g per sachet

Direction

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in half a glass of water (for children, mix in a bottle, soup or other semi-solid food). Adults usually take 3 sachets per day. Follow the advice of a doctor.

Side effects

• Constipation
• Flatulence
• Vomiting

Precautions

• Take other medicines at least 2 hours apart
• as it may reduce their absorption
• Continue oral rehydration in case of severe diarrhoea
• especially in children
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs
