Indication
- Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Heartburn and acid indigestion - Pathological hypersecretory conditions - Prevention of upper GI bleeding
Ingredients
- Cimetidine
Direction
Take orally, usually twice daily with meals or once daily at bedtime. Dosage should be followed exactly as prescribed by a physician.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Gynecomastia with prolonged use
- Skin rash
Precautions
- May interact with many other drugs
- Use caution with renal impairment
- Use caution with hepatic impairment
- May cause confusion in elderly
