Indication
- Rheumatoid arthritis - Osteoarthritis - Ankylosing spondylitis - Acute musculoskeletal disorders - Postoperative pain and inflammation - Acute gout
Ingredients
- Piroxicam
Direction
Take 1 tablet (20mg) orally once daily. Should be taken with or after food to reduce gastric irritation.
Side effects
- Gastric upset and nausea
- Abdominal pain or dyspepsia
- Dizziness and headache
- Peripheral edema
- Skin rash or pruritus
Precautions
- History of stomach ulcers or GI bleeding
- Severe heart
- liver
- or kidney failure
- Pregnancy (third trimester)
- Hypersensitivity to aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Use with caution in elderly patients
