Indication

Emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure; the two 0.75 mg tablets together provide a 1.5 mg levonorgestrel course.

Ingredients

• Levonorgestrel 0.75 mg

Direction

Take both 0.75 mg tablets as soon as possible within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, as directed by a physician (the two tablets may be taken together).

Side effects

• Nausea and abdominal pain
• Tiredness and headache
• Dizziness
• Breast tenderness
• Changes in menstrual bleeding or delayed period

Precautions

• For emergency use only
• not a regular method of contraception
• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections
• Take a pregnancy test if your period is more than 5 days late
• Less effective in women with a high body weight
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
