Vometa FT 10 mg

Indication

Vometa FT (domperidone) is used for the symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting, and to relieve symptoms such as bloating, fullness, and upper abdominal discomfort associated with delayed gastric emptying and reflux.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

The usual dose in adults is 1 tablet 3 to 4 times a day. The usual dose for children is 0.3 mg/kg body weight, 3 to 4 times a day. The dose should be given before meals and, if required, at bedtime. As a fast-melting tablet it may be placed on the tongue to dissolve. Maximum period of treatment is 12 weeks. To be dispensed on physician's prescription.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Diarrhoea
• Abdominal cramps
• Doses above 30 mg per day may carry a potential risk of cardiac arrhythmia
