Domper 10 mg

Indication

Domper (domperidone) is used for the symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting. It also relieves epigastric discomfort, bloating, and fullness associated with delayed gastric emptying, including following cytotoxic therapy or radiotherapy.

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

The usual dose in adults is 1 tablet 3 to 4 times a day. The usual dose for children is 0.3 mg/kg body weight, 3 to 4 times a day. Doses above 30 mg per day should be used with caution. The dose should be given before meals and, if required, at bedtime. Maximum period of treatment is 12 weeks. To be dispensed on physician's prescription.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Diarrhoea
• Abdominal cramps
• Doses above 30 mg per day may carry a potential risk of cardiac arrhythmia
