Carbophos 1200 mg

Indication

Carbophos is a food supplement based on activated charcoal that contributes to reducing excessive flatulence after eating and helps relieve bloating, difficult digestion, and abdominal discomfort.

Ingredients

• Activated vegetable charcoal 1200 mg per 3 tablets

Direction

Chew 3 tablets (equivalent to 1.2 g of charcoal) at least 30 minutes before a meal, 3 times a day. Swallow the tablets with a little water. To reduce excessive flatulence, also chew 3 tablets at least 2 hours after a meal. Do not use for prolonged periods without obtaining specialist advice. Take charcoal at least 2 hours apart from any other medication.

Side effects

• Black stools (harmless)
• Constipation with prolonged or high use
• May reduce the absorption of other medicines taken at the same time
