Indication
For the relief of mild-to-moderate pain and fever, including headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, muscular and rheumatic pain, and the symptoms of arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis).
Ingredients
- Ibuprofen 400 mg
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet (400 mg) every 4 to 6 hours as needed, preferably with or after food. Do not exceed 1200 mg (3 tablets) in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Refer to the package insert for full details.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal effects such as nausea
- dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- and risk of gastric ulcer or bleeding
- Dizziness or headache
- Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer
- severe heart failure
- or hypersensitivity to ibuprofen
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease
- hypertension
- asthma
- or renal or hepatic impairment
- Avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy
- Take with or after food to reduce stomach upset and avoid combining with other NSAIDs
