Indication
For rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and other inflammatory disorders, and relief of pain due to skeletal-muscle inflammation and primary dysmenorrhoea.
Ingredients
- Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg
Direction
Adults: 100-150 mg per day in divided doses, taken with or after food. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Swallow the enteric-coated tablet whole without crushing or chewing. Please refer to the package insert for full details.
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal effects such as epigastric pain
- nausea
- diarrhoea
- and risk of gastric ulcer or bleeding
- Headache
- dizziness or fluid retention
- Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- Contraindicated in active peptic ulcer
- severe heart failure
- and hypersensitivity to diclofenac
- aspirin or other NSAIDs
- Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
- hypertension
- renal or hepatic impairment
- or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding
- Avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy
- Take with or after food and avoid combining with other NSAIDs
