Voren 50 mg

Indication

For rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis and other inflammatory disorders, and relief of pain due to skeletal-muscle inflammation and primary dysmenorrhoea.

Ingredients

• Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg

Direction

Adults: 100-150 mg per day in divided doses, taken with or after food. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. Swallow the enteric-coated tablet whole without crushing or chewing. Please refer to the package insert for full details.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal effects such as epigastric pain
• nausea
• diarrhoea
• and risk of gastric ulcer or bleeding
• Headache
• dizziness or fluid retention
• Skin rash or hypersensitivity reactions
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs

Precautions

• Contraindicated in active peptic ulcer
• severe heart failure
• and hypersensitivity to diclofenac
• aspirin or other NSAIDs
• Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
• hypertension
• renal or hepatic impairment
• or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding
• Avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy
• Take with or after food and avoid combining with other NSAIDs
