Indication
For the relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, and for the management of acute pain.
Ingredients
- Celecoxib 200 mg
Direction
As directed by the physician. Usual adult dose: 200 mg once daily or 100 mg twice daily, taken with or without food. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration. See the package insert for full prescribing information.
Side effects
- Dyspepsia
- abdominal pain
- diarrhoea and other gastrointestinal effects
- Peripheral oedema
- headache or dizziness
- Increased risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack
- stroke) with long

- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with sulfonamide hypersensitivity
- active peptic ulcer or GI bleeding
- severe heart failure
- and aspirin/NSAID
- induced asthma
- Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
- hypertension
- or renal or hepatic impairment
- Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time and avoid combining with other NSAIDs
