Indication
- Skin and soft tissue infections - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Otitis media (ear infection) - Bone and joint infections - Dental infections
Ingredients
- Cephalexin
Direction
Take orally every 6 to 12 hours as prescribed. Swallow tablets whole with water, with or without food.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Dizziness or fatigue
- Skin rash or itching
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
- Possible cross
- sensitivity with penicillin allergy
- Adjust dosage for renal impairment
- Risk of Clostridioides difficile
- associated diarrhea
