Indication
- Mild to moderate pain relief - Fever reduction - Reducing inflammation - Prevention of cardiovascular events - Antiplatelet therapy for heart health
Ingredients
- Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspirin)
Direction
Take orally. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Dose depends on indication.
Side effects
- Gastric irritation or stomach pain
- Increased risk of bruising/bleeding
- Tinnitus or ringing in the ears
- Nausea and vomiting
- Allergic skin reactions
Precautions
- Risk of Reye's syndrome in children
- History of stomach ulcers or bleeding
- Hypersensitivity to NSAIDs or salicylates
- Avoid during the third trimester pregnancy
- Concurrent use of blood thinners
