Indication
- Bacterial infections - Respiratory tract infections - Urinary tract infections - Ear, nose, and throat infections - Skin and soft tissue infections - Peptic ulcer (part of combination therapy)
Ingredients
- Amoxicillin
Direction
Take orally with or without food. Usually one 500mg dose every 8 to 12 hours as directed by a physician.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Skin rash
- Vomiting
- Oral or vaginal yeast infections
Precautions
- History of penicillin allergy
- Severe renal impairment
- Potential for cross
- sensitivity with cephalosporins
- Risk of Clostridioides difficile
- associated diarrhea
