Indication
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs) - Prostatitis - Uncomplicated gonorrhea - Bacterial gastroenteritis - Traveler's diarrhea
Ingredients
- Norfloxacin
Direction
Take orally on an empty stomach, either 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Typically taken every 12 hours for the duration prescribed.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal cramps
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- May worsen Myasthenia Gravis
- Avoid excessive sunlight (photosensitivity)
- Do not take with antacids or iron
- Use caution in patients with seizures
