Methycobal 500 mcg

Indication

Treatment of peripheral neuropathies. Used in the treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency and related anaemias.

Ingredients

• Mecobalamin 500 mcg

Direction

Adults: usually 1 tablet (500 mcg of mecobalamin) three times a day. The dose should be adjusted according to the age of the patient and the severity of symptoms.

Side effects

• Rash
• nausea
• anorexia
• diarrhoea or mild gastrointestinal upset may occur rarely

• Discontinue if no response is observed after a reasonable period of administration
