Bioflor 250 mg

Indication

Treatment of acute infectious diarrhoea of adults and children. Prevention and treatment of antibiotic-associated colitis and diarrhoea. Addition to vancomycine/metronidazole treatment to prevent recurrence of Clostridium difficile diseases. Prevention of tube-feeding associated diarrhoea. Treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

Ingredients

• Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I
• 745 250 mg (lyophilized yeast cells)

Direction

Oral route, 1 or 2 sachets, given once or twice daily. Dissolve the contents of the sachet in water before taking.

• Not recommended for patients with central venous catheter or critically ill/immunocompromised patients due to risk of fungaemia
• Do not prepare the sachet near patients with a central venous catheter
