Indication
- Bacterial infections (anaerobic) - Amoebiasis (intestinal and liver) - Giardiasis - Trichomoniasis - Dental infections - Bacterial vaginosis
Ingredients
- Metronidazole
Direction
Take orally with or after food. Typically taken two to three times daily for 5-10 days as prescribed.
Side effects
- Metallic taste in mouth
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Furry or coated tongue
- Darkened or reddish
- brown urine
- Dizziness or headache
Precautions
- Avoid all alcohol consumption
- Potential disulfiram
- like reaction with alcohol
- History of blood dyscrasias
- Severe liver disease
- First trimester of pregnancy
