Fobancort 2% / 0.064% w/w

Indication

Topical treatment of inflammatory dermatoses, such as eczema and dermatitis, where bacterial infection is present or likely to occur.

Ingredients

• Fusidic acid 2.0% w/w
• Betamethasone dipropionate 0.064% w/w (equivalent to betamethasone 0.05%)

Direction

Apply as directed by your doctor or pharmacist, usually a small amount to the affected area twice daily. For external use only.

Side effects

• Local burning
• itching or stinging
• Skin dryness or redness
• Skin thinning with prolonged use
• Folliculitis or acne
• like eruptions
• Allergic contact dermatitis

Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes
• Avoid prolonged use
• especially on the face and large areas
