Axcel Acyclovir 5% w/w

Indication

Treatment of herpes simplex virus infection of the skin including genital herpes and herpes labialis.

Ingredients

• Acyclovir (micronised) 5% w/w

Direction

For external use only. For adults, children and geriatric: apply cream to the affected area 5 or 6 times daily for 5 to 10 days. Apply as early as possible after the start of an infection, particularly during the prodromal period or when lesions first appear.

• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs

• Keep out of reach of children
• For external use only
• Controlled medicine
• use under medical supervision
• Should not be applied to mucous membranes
• e.g. in the mouth
• eyes or vagina
• In severely immune
• compromised patients
• oral acyclovir dosing should be considered
