Indication
Treatment of external bacterial infections of the eye and its adnexa caused by tobramycin-susceptible organisms, including bacterial conjunctivitis.
Ingredients
- Tobramycin 0.3% (3 mg/mL)
Direction
Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every four hours. In severe infections, instill two drops every 30 to 60 minutes initially, then reduce frequency as the infection improves. Use as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Eye discomfort
- stinging or burning on instillation
- Eye redness or itching
- Eyelid swelling
- Watery eyes
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs
Precautions
- For topical ophthalmic use only
- do not inject or swallow
- Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination
- Remove contact lenses before use
- Do not use if you are allergic to tobramycin or other aminoglycosides
- Consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist
- Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
