Indication

Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, particularly in overweight patients, to control blood sugar levels when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.

Ingredients

• Metformin hydrochloride

Direction

Take orally with or after meals as directed by a physician. The dose is adjusted individually based on blood glucose levels.

Side effects

• May cause gastrointestinal effects such as nausea
• vomiting
• diarrhoea
• abdominal pain
• and loss of appetite
• especially at the start of treatment. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
