Nasal Spray 0.05%

Indication

Nasal decongestant. Temporarily relieves nasal congestion due to common cold, hay fever, upper respiratory allergies or sinusitis; reduces swelling of nasal passages and restores freer breathing through the nose.

Ingredients

• Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride 0.05% (5 mg / 15 ml)

Direction

Adults and children 6 to under 12 years: 2 or 3 sprays in each nostril not more often than every 10 to 12 hours. Children under 6 years: ask a doctor. Shake well before use. Do not exceed 2 doses in any 24 hour period. Do not use for more than 3 days.

Side effects

• Temporary discomfort such as burning
• stinging
• sneezing or an increase in nasal discharge may occur. Overuse may cause rebound congestion. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Do not use for more than 3 days. Ask a doctor before use if you have heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes or difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate. If pregnant or breast
• feeding ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
