Indication
- Gastrointestinal tract spasms - Biliary and renal colic - Genitourinary tract spasms - Smooth muscle spasms - Diagnostic aid in endoscopy
Ingredients
- Hyoscine Butylbromide (Scopolamine Butylbromide)
Direction
Administer by intramuscular, subcutaneous, or slow intravenous injection. The typical dose is 20mg (one ampoule) as needed, not to exceed 100mg daily.
Side effects
- Dry mouth
- Visual accommodation disturbances
- Tachycardia
- Dizziness
- Constipation
Precautions
- Untreated narrow
- angle glaucoma
- Myasthenia gravis
- Prostatic hypertrophy with urinary retention
- Mechanical gastrointestinal stenosis
- Paralytic ileus
