Axcel Miconazole Cream 2% w/w

Indication

Used topically in the management of superficial candidiasis and fungal skin infections such as mucocutaneous candidiasis, dermatophytosis and pityriasis versicolor.

Ingredients

• Miconazole nitrate (micronised) 2% w/w

Direction

Apply cream according to the size of the lesion twice daily. Rub gently until the cream is completely absorbed by the skin. Continue treatment for at least 1 week after the lesion has cleared to prevent relapse. For external use only.

Side effects

• May cause local skin irritation
• burning
• redness or itching. Stop if irritation or allergy occurs and consult a doctor.

Precautions

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Contains chlorocresol 0.1% as preservative which may cause allergic reactions. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
