Hydromark-100 100 mg

Indication

Corticosteroid used for the treatment of severe allergic reactions, shock, severe asthma, and other inflammatory or endocrine conditions requiring systemic corticosteroid therapy.

Ingredients

• Hydrocortisone sodium succinate (equivalent to hydrocortisone 100 mg)

Direction

For IV or IM injection. Prepare solution by aseptically adding not more than 2.0 ml of sterile water for injection or sterile sodium chloride injection to the contents of one vial. Shake well. Use as directed by the physician.

Side effects

• May cause fluid retention
• raised blood pressure
• elevated blood sugar
• and increased risk of infection. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.

Precautions

• Use reconstituted solution only if clear and free of particulate matter
• and use immediately after reconstitution. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
