Indication
Long-acting corticosteroid injection used to treat inflammatory and allergic conditions, including arthritis, severe allergies, and certain skin and joint disorders.
Ingredients
- Triamcinolone acetonide B.P. 80 mg per 2 ml
- Benzyl alcohol B.P. 0.9% v/v (as preservative)
Direction
For IM use. Shake well before use. Administer as directed by the physician.
Side effects
- May cause fluid retention
- raised blood pressure
- elevated blood sugar
- skin thinning
- and increased risk of infection. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
- stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
Precautions
- Warning: should not be used in neonates. Shake well before use. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use.
