Indication
- Acute bacterial diarrhea - Intestinal antiseptic treatment - Symptoms of food poisoning
Ingredients
- Nifuroxazide
Direction
Take orally with water. Usually 1 capsule (200mg) four times per day for 3 to 7 days.
Side effects
- Allergic skin reactions
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Darkening of urine (rare)
Precautions
- Must be accompanied by rehydration
- Not for systemic infections
- Discontinue if diarrhea persists >3 days
- Avoid alcohol during treatment
