Indication
Thyroid hormone replacement used to treat hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid gland) and other conditions where thyroid hormone is needed.
Ingredients
- Levothyroxine sodium
Direction
Take one tablet daily by mouth, usually in the morning before breakfast, or as directed by a doctor. Tablets can be divided.
Side effects
- May cause palpitations
- headache
- sweating or weight changes if the dose is too high. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
