Tidact 300 mg

Indication

Antibiotic agent for the treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria and certain gram-positive organisms.

Ingredients

• Clindamycin hydrochloride 300 mg

Direction

Adults: serious infections 150 to 300 mg every 6 hours; more severe infections 300 to 450 mg every 6 hours. Children: 8 to 16 mg/kg/day in 3 or 4 divided doses; more severe infections 16 to 20 mg/kg/day. To be taken orally.

Side effects

• May cause diarrhoea
• nausea
• abdominal pain or skin rash. Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist.

Precautions

• Gelatin source of capsule shell is bovine. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use
• stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
